Article Home - Our country

"Civilizations have arisen in other parts of the world. In ancient and modern times , wonderful ideas have been always with the blast of war trumpets and march of embattled cohorts. Each idea had to be soaked in a deluge of blood.......... Each word of power had to be followed by the groans of millions, by the wails of orphans, by the tears of widows. This, many other nations have taught but India for thousands of years peacefully existed. Here activity prevailed when even Greece did not exist . Even earlier ,when history has no record, and tradition dares not peer into the gloom of that intense past, even from until now, ideas after ideas have marched out from her, but every word has been spoken with blessing behind it peace before it."

Article : Which is the brightest star?

Many questions arise in our mind about many things . One of the question is that ' Which is the brightest star?' We can know this by this discussion . As 6000 stars can be seen without telescope so it means they are bright stars. About 2000 years ago a greek astronomer divided the stars on the basis of their brightness or we can say on the basis of magnitude. Magnitude divides stars into many parts. The brightest stars were in the 1st magnitude and faintest stars were in the last magnitude. There are about 22 stars in the first magnitude and about 1000000000 stars in the other magnitudes. In the 1st group the brightest star is Sirius and is brighter than the stars of 20th magnitude which is the last group.
