Robotics Club
The school in collaboration with 'A- SET Training & Research Institute' launched the 'Robotic Club' in 2010. The main objective of the club is to build a strong base in physics, computer programming and artificial intelligence among the students. The club activities aim to train the members in different Robotic platforms.
- Fresh members were enrolled in the club on 20 August 2011. The club has a present strength of 82 students. They are divided into three groups:-
Group 1-Members (10 students) continuing in the second year.
Group 2-Freshers (38 students) from classes IV to VI.
Group 3-Freshers (32 students) from classes VII to X.
Members of Group 1 were introduced to the basics of digital circuits, microprocessors with 4081 IC and practical utility of microprocessor. For group 2 and 3, the topics were basic electronic components and elementary ideas about electronic circuits.
- The members of Robotics Club learnt to create AC and DC conversion circuits in the session held on 22 October 2011.
- In sessions held on 10 December and 19 December 2011, the students understood the real working of transistors in the circuit.
- The sessions held on 24 December and 7 January 2012 focussed on Audio Amplifier. Students were able to make working audio amplifier under the guidance of faculty members of A-Set Robotics.
