Bal Bharati Public School ranks high among the premier progressive schools in the country. An eminent philanthropist, the Late Padma Vibhushan Lala Hansraj Gupta alongwith his fellow luminaries founded the parent body, the 'CHILD EDUCATION SOCIETY'. His dream of establishing an educational institution was realized when Bal Bharati Public School came into existence more than six decades ago. The school spread over six acres of prime land, is housed in two wings one at Pusa Road and the other at Ganga Ram Hospital Marg. It is today one of the most distinguished members of the child Education Society and has played a pivotal role in setting up other Bal Bharati Schools at the national level.

Though progressive in its outlook, Bal Bharati has its moorings in our strong cultural heritage and traditions.

The phenomenal success and the high growth trajectory that Bal Bharati has displayed in recent times can be largely attributed to the sagacious and inspiring leadership of Mr. K. K. Khullar, President, Child Education Society and Chairman of the school. His drive, zeal and commitment cascades down to the staff and the students, who under the able leadership of Principal L V Sehgal continuously strive to achieve excellence in all fields.

Bal Bharati Public School, Ganga Ram Hospital Marg is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. It is also a member of NPSC, a conglomeration of prominent public schools of India.
